Not something often thought about, but we know there are plenty of grooms out there that aren’t too keen on a typical bucks party. Here are some ideas for hosting a groom shower.
build a bar party
This is a chance for the groom’s friends to help stock the bar in the couple’s home. When inviting guests, allocate what you would like each person to bring, from whiskey to champagne glasses, everything that’s needed. Organising a mixologist as entertainment, would be a great fit here.
tasting tour
Does the groom have a favourite beverage or product? Why not organise a tasting tour for him and his closest friends. It could be a day trip or a weekend away, experiencing his favourite produce.
grill groom
Does the groom-to-be love to cook? Why not use this as an opportunity for him to get all of the gadgets he’s been wanting. Set up a registry, with items such as BBQ utensils, a slow cooker, fancy knives, any of those items that have been on his wish list for a while. You can even include ingredients like tuscan olive oil or cook books as well. A great restaurant or caterer is a must here, or help the groom whip up his favourite menu items.
