We will always recall the day that Rebecca and Ben walked into our office, Rebecca, who creates her own fashion line in luxury sleepwear and Ben who is an integral part of the family business at the Blackmore Wagyu Farm (Alexandria), we’re looking for our complete professional planning and styling service.
We were delighted to hear that Vue de Monde would be hosting the reception. Ben was keen to feature the family farm’s produce with chef Shannon Bennett incorporating the farm’s world famous Wagyu beef into a degustation menu.
The ceremony was held in a private garden area, away from the public eye. The romantic wedding ceremony created with a white carpet runner, a sea of white flowers and gold Tiffany chairs. And complimented with gorgeous rest areas furnished with French style furniture shaded by white umbrellas.
Rebecca walked down the aisle in a stunning Monique Lhuillier gown; focusing only on the man at the top the aisle, Ben who had swept her off her feet the very first day they met. A string quartet played and as they sealed the deal with a kiss the bridal party showered them with rose petals, providing this beautiful moment.
The pre-reception function commenced with the sun setting on the spectacular Melbourne views, atop the Rialto Building. The Vue de Monde bar featured an ice sculpture of the very first bull from the Blackmore Farm, which resonated with Ben’s family and added a very personal touch.
As the canapés and cocktails flowed, the unsuspecting guests were about to embark on an evening of food heaven and an experience that they would not soon forget. Chef Shannon’s degustation menu showcased Ben’s family Wagyu beef, featured edible centrepieces and a decadent dessert bar.
The evening was spent dancing the night away, and finished with a perfect night cap from the vintage drinks trolley and cigar bar, while guests watched, a spectacular firework display over the Yarra river.
